Στην Ελληνική μυθολογία ο Λαβύρινθος ήταν μια περίπλοκη, συγκεχυμένη δομή σχεδιασμένη και κατασκευασμένη από τον θρυλικό καλλιτέχνη Δαίδαλο για τον βασιλιά Μίνωα της Κρήτης στην Κνωσό. Η λειτουργία του ήταν να φυλακίσει τον Μινώταυρο.
