Ο πύργος είναι σχεδιασμένος από τον αρχιτέκτονα Αλέξανδρο Αναστασιάδη το 1966, έχοντας 76m ύψος και φιλοξενεί τέσσερις ορόφους. Οι πρώτες εκπομπές της Ελληνικής Κρατικής Τηλεόρασης σε άσπρο και μαύρο αναμεταδόθηκαν από αυτό το κτήριο ένα χρόνο μετά την αποπεράτωση του.
